Bernie Sanders has just WON New Hampshire.
His victory speech was that of a true leader — wide ranging, gracious, unifying, and a call to arms.
He spoke of institutionalized racism, economic inequality, foreign policy, global warming, pay equity for women, immigration reform, health care for all, protecting veterans, and campaign finance reform.
He thanked New Hampshire, and told his supporters that we have moved him “more than I can express in words” with our millions of dollars in donations.
He congratulated his opponent, Hillary Clinton, for running a “vigorous campaign,” and asked the Democratic Party to unify come summer.
He rallied his supporters, telling us that what has happened in Iowa and New Hampshire “is nothing short of the beginning of a political revolution.”
He held forth with his incredibly inspiring message to unite Americans with a movement “that brings together working people who have given up on the political process, [and] young people who have never participated in the political process; blacks and whites, Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, straight and gay, male and female, people who were born in America and people who immigrated here.”
He told us we have sent a “message to the political and economic establishment, and, by the way, to the media” that the American people are suffering, struggling, and oppressed — and we are done, FINISHED, with this corrupt Congress and immobilized White House.
Bernie is right!
The American people are no longer fooled by empty campaign promises and evolving political positions.
WE WANT SANDERS.
We want REAL change.
His speech only goes to show how wonderful and far reaching of a president he would be: a leader for ALL the American people, a unifier who leaves out no one — not even the long oppressed and never mentioned Native people of this country. Truly, the fact that he mentioned our brothers and sisters who are living with the worst rate of poverty in all the land brings tears to my eyes.
On to Nevada, on to South Carolina, on to Super Tuesday with this marvelous man!
On to the Democratic convention!
On to the White House!
On to a transformative presidency that will be remembered for centuries to come and marked down in the history books as the years America finally began to fulfill its promise of opportunity and equality!
On to REVOLUTION!
