In 2008, my candidate, Barack Obama became the first African American President of the United States. It was a tearful night for many in this country as it was for my wife and I as we watched the television monitor.
Victory Speech 2008 Suddenly, The First Family 250,000 in Grant ParkIn that election we also took the Senate and the House dramatically. It was a mandate, and my wife and I talked of all the wonderful things that could now be accomplished. It was a time of HOPE.

In 2007 — 2008 as you may recall we had quite a number of primary contenders. The candidates present at debate were Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, Dennis Kucinich, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Chris Dodd, and John Edwards.
In 2007 the debates were a production. Many vibrant locations, great time slots with media buildup, and sometimes stars showed along with big crowds. Go scan to the bottom of this link and see the times and nature of each debate in 2007 leading into 2008.

Our government is an extension of the multinational corporate system. That is one of Senator Bernie Sanders main points. We no longer govern ourselves but are controlled.
This election season we have had a person running our Democratic Party, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is receptive only to the multinational corporations. In a stunning betrayal of Democracy itself she has autocratically worked toward the destruction of the Democratic Party. To the Sanders campaigns credit they knew it would be this way. They knew the multinational corporate media conglomerates would control the process and they would receive none of their help and would be a hindrance if anything.
Despite all this the Sanders Campaign, in effect in eight months time, has built their own media system out of social media and carved out their own Democratic branch of the Democratic Party. It is growing exponentially everyday. The Sanders Campaign has built, and are currently fine tuning, their own people funded mega monetary political force.
In a matter of months, despite little attention from the multinationally owned corporate media conglomerate, the Sanders campaign has fought the Democratic establishment to a standstill. Not only that but their funding apparatus has proved they can fund national, and local elections, like never before. Candidates beholden to citizens and not multinational corporate interests.
If you look at the two caucuses so far where the popular vote is not tallied, but politically worked, Sanders has against all odds basically forced the establishment to use all the power and tricks they have to contrive media messages. As I watch the pundits and Clinton campaign surrogates massage the messages in every way possible.
Despite the Sanders campaign needing to create, and then turn out, each and every voter themselves, they managed to attain the highest vote total 151,256 in the history of the New Hampshire primary by either party. Add to this the fact that they also had 2,095 write in votes on the Republican side (a record). It wasn’t close. The Senator won 40,000 more votes then anyone in either party when he made history last week. This “history” was downplayed and drowned in a bathtub by the multinational conglomerate media. Don’t worry. We the people are well aware of what we accomplished through hard work all on our own. It is becoming more and more known EVERYDAY.
New Hampshire was the only counting of public votes that has taken place this year on the Democratic side.On the Democratic establishment side Secretary Clinton, despite a huge monetary, and total entrenched political establishment party backing, managed to inspire 17,000 less voters then she did in 2008 when she was competing for votes against five more candidates.
It would appear that the Bernie Sanders “people driven” side of the Democratic Party is outworking and outdrawing both the establishment side of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party too.
What the establishment Democratic Party has done is suppress their own vote. The negative tone of the establishment’s “No We Can’t” messages is not helping either. Not “being out there” in vigorous debates combined with the non-inspirational message is basically destroying any chance to win the house and senate.
My question is WHY?Certainly the leadership knows what I have stated. It is common sense. Has the leadership in this party turned contrary to the interests of we the people? If so, why is that?
Next week we will be in South Carolina where the politics is such that Bernie Sanders should be defeated in excess of 20% of the vote, minimally. If Secretary Clinton should win by less then 15%, not an easy feat to accomplish, she will be in very serious trouble, I feel. There is no better state for her and ALL stops have, and will, be pulled out for her to “send a message”.
After that regardless of the South Carolina results, and despite the chattering of talking heads, it becomes much more doable for Bernie Sanders.
It’s all good, his message is getting out, and the establishment is on their heels.
We got this members of the Bernie Wing of the Democratic Party. The NEW and Future Democrats.
At some point all Democrats will realize what platform the new party needs to be built with. And that is the ideas of Bernie Sanders with him fighting for them. Work hard. We Will Get This Done.
If polls like this won’t move folks nothing can.Bernie’s ideas are the foundation, the present, and obviously the future, of the Democratic Party .
