On January 20th I posted this comment about Hillary’s long promised “comprehensive energy and climate agenda” to deal with the urgent problems needing to be addressed to try to reduce the changes to our climate that are already underway. My comment included blockquoted portion of the Hillary Campaign press release issued with a lot of fanfare back in mid July that I cut and pasted into a blockquote along with a link.
Now the promise Hillary’s Campaign to roll out the elements of a comprehensive energy and climate agenda in the coming months has been scrubbed from the campaign’s web site. Granted there is a link to a pdf file with some tantalizing tidbits from the supposed upcoming agenda, but that document appears to be unchanged since July of 2015. Apparently people like me pointing out Hillary’s lack of her long promised agenda had become to much of an embarrassment to the campaign. So they scrubbed that promise and hoped that their glossy July press release with its PDF could masquerade as Hillary’s comprehensive energy and climate agenda.
Here is the comment I made on January 20th:
Lefty Coaster delphineHillary herself raised expectations she would come out with a detailed plan six months ago.
In the coming months, Hillary will lay out a comprehensive energy and climate agenda to help America transition to a clean energy economy and meet the global climate crisis.
It’s fair to ask after six of those months where is this “comprehensive energy and climate agenda”?
Judging by her backsliding in this tweet, after S.C. Hillary is now be taking her nomination as a given. Now it’s OK to start her long anticipated slide rightward (and her comfort zone), just as soon as she thought she could get away with it politically.
