She got that a lot in the early days, and sometimes it reduced her to tears.
But she was tough.
You’d be amazed at how tough soft can be.
She stuck with it.
Every day, like clockwork, there was the diary.
Share pictures and stories of your pets and have them fussed over. Share sadness and be comforted. Share happiness and let the celebration begin. Bring your problems and get advice. And jokes, lolcats, teasing, play, good old-fashioned-often-rowdy-sometimes-ribald fun? Please! At Tricia’s place, two things were always on tap: kindness and laughter.
In the end, she’d built a community that’s as solid as any I’ve seen online or off.
And strangers were always, always welcome.
Because that was the main thing about Tricia. She took in strays.
