Clinton's 3 Goldman Sachs Speech Income Greater than Bernie's Entire Net Worth

Hillary Clinton made more by talking for three hours to the Masters of the Universe, than Bernie Sanders has accumulated in his entire lifetime.

Hillary refuses to release the transcripts of these speeches until others do the same. Well, Bernie has already released his “transcripts”, and no one else has any to release either. Because no one’s time is as valuable as Hillary Clinton’s to Wall St, where she can earn $62 in the time it takes her to sneeze.

To insinuate that Bernie is not releasing his tax returns because he is hiding something in them, is absurd and a desperate attempt to find something to smear him on, as the Clinton campaign has increasingly been doing. Furthermore, he is not refusing to release them, but rather has promised to do so. Unlike, again, Clinton who will not release her transcripts.

1. He Has a Net Worth of About $300,000, Making Him One of the Poorest of the Presidential Candidates

Bernie Sanders’ public disclosures place his net worth at between $194,026 and $741,030, Politico reported. Some media sources just take the highest number and report his net worth at $700,00, but this is inaccurate. The total is likely around $300,00, since as early as 2013 he had an estimated net worth of $330,000, NPR reported. This is far below most members of Congress, where the median net worth in 2013 was $1 million. In the Senate, the median was $2.8 million.

Compared to other political candidates, Sanders also ranks low. Hillary and Bill Clinton made more than $25 million in the first half of 2014 just from speaking engagements. According to USA Today, Donald Trump’s net worth is between $2.9 and $10 billion, Hillary Clinton’s is $15.3 to $55 million, and Ted Cruz is $1.7 to $4.5 million. Marco Rubio has the net worth closest to his, at somewhere between $100,000 and $400,000.

Bernie Sanders knows what it is like to be poor, which is why he is running a campaign that if successful will help the middle and lower classes.

3. Most of His Income Comes from His Salary as Senator, And He Donated Royalties From His Book to Charity

4. Sanders Owns Two Homes, One Which Serves as a Rental Property, And Has Thousands in Credit Card Debt

5. He Grew Up Poor, With His Parents Often Arguing Over Money

Bernie: “I learned what havoc and pain is caused by the constant worry over money. People who come from money sometimes don’t understand that anxiety.”

Bernie Sanders has promised to release his taxes soon. For the record, Clinton released her taxes in 2008 on April 12. So Bernie has another 8 days to meet her deadline. Despite the fact that this is a much richer financial history, there were no shrieks in 2008 on April 3 to release the tax returns. $400K is a very small hiding place, to hide who knows what illicit activity Hillary people suspect.  There just is no there there.
