Polk County was 1 of 3 that went for Hillary in a pretty rough night for her in Wisconsin.
It’ll get a bit rougher… it seems that there was an entry error in one of the districts. Hat tip to the reddit crowd who seem to be really on top of the details! You can view the results yourself.
The recorded results: Clinton 830 — O’Malley 78 — Sanders 0
That’s a total of 908 voters in a town with only 878 registered voters in total.
Polk County will soon #FeelTheBernIt should almost certainly be:
Cinton 83 — O’Malley 0 — Sanders 78
The final Polk County results from last night: Clinton 2,921 — Sanders 2,395
Corrected results, based on the above: Clinton 2,174 — Sanders 2,473
Corrected WI totals would be: Sanders 563,206 — Clinton 429,011 (Other 3,270)
Not a significant change, Sanders to 56.6% and Clinton stays at 43.1%, but interesting nonetheless. No idea (but doubt) if it affects any allocated delegates. NYT is currently reporting that Sanders has 45 to Hillary’s 31.
Since this hit the rec list, let me plug my other diary:
What happens when people do their research?PS. A bonus graphic! Look at the political alignment of state delegates, both pledged and unpledged. That’s an exciting graphic for a Bernie supporter.
Hat tip again to redditWhat Bernie thinks about his lack of media coverage x YouTube VideoSincere to a fault. That’s Bernie Sanders.
