Hillary is out attacking Bernie today. Not a Democrat, accusing him of attacking President Obama, blah, blah, blah. And she condescended to those poor, misled young folks who can’t see through evil Bernie’s telling of facts.
“There is a persistent, organized effort to misrepresent my record, and I don’t appreciate that, and I feel sorry for a lot of the young people who are fed this list of misrepresentations. I know that Senator Sanders spends a lot of time attacking my husband, attacking President Obama.”
Secretary Clinton feels sorry for all you young people. Be sure to repay her when you vote.
And she’s really hitting hard on the meme that Bernie “attacks” President Obama and her husband, Bill, because, of course, Bernie is not a Democrat. You see it above. Here’s another, with an added helping that Bernie did not attack George Bush!
GLENN THRUSH: When he puts his head on a pillow at night, do you think he goes to sleep a Democrat?
SEC. CLINTON: [Laughs] Well, I can't answer that, Glenn, because he's a relatively new Democrat, and, in fact, I'm not even sure he is one. He's running as one. So I don't know quite how to characterize him. I'll leave that to him. But I know there's a big difference between Democrats and Republicans, and I know that Senator Sanders spends a lot of time attacking my husband, attacking President Obama, you know, calling President Obama weak and disappointing, and actually making a move in 2012 to recruit somebody to run a primary against him. I rarely hear him say anything negative about George W. Bush, who I think wrecked our economy, just not to put too fine a point on it.
See, he’s not a Democrat. Rarely attacked Bush.
Except Bernie voted against the Iraq war, while Hillary voted for it.
x YouTube VideoIt will only get worse. Hillary is going to go full negative. This is just the beginning.
Update I: January 29, 2008.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) delivers a devastating critique of Pres. George W. Bush's final State of the Union speech. Sander draws attention to the lack of credibility in Bush's presentation around employment, inequality, health care, manufacturing, trade, and energy. Sen. Sanders lays out an alternative political vision directly addressing these realities.
x YouTube VideoNow all you young people, you can look at facts, do your own research, or believe Hillary’s attacks.
Rarely criticized Bush my ass.
This is why in poll after poll, Hillary Clinton’s numbers for trustworthiness are so low.
