Hillary Clinton’s campaign was very excited to get the SEIU endorsement, and SEIU plastered pro-Hillary things all over their Facebook page and Twitter feed. One problem: only that morning, they had posted a #FightFor15 promo, their push for moving the minimum wage to $15 an hour, complete with a small blurb on a woman with three kids who requires $15 an hour to make it.
Of course, Hillary Clinton does NOT support $15 an hour; she supports only $12. Bernie Sanders does support $15 an hour. Oops.
SEIU members are NOT happy. The comments abound with people upset about the Hillary endorsement, saying they were not allowed to make a choice in this decision. You should go look — their Facebook an Twitter is replete with comments regarding this.
Bernie Sanders, being Bernie Sanders, told Lakeshia, the woman in the SEIU ad, not to worry, that he still had her back:
xI want Lakesia to know I will never waver from the #FightFor15. Twelve dollars an hour is not a livable wage. https://t.co/kdrYEkNSm8

Another reason to love Bernie Sanders, and another reason why Hillary is just more of the same weak-sauce Democrat.
