Elizabeth Warren decided to chime into the Trump-Hillary feud, and it’s a doozy.

.

THIS is the kind of bite we’ll likely see out of Elizabeth Warren over this general election season, side by side with Hillary.  Awesome!

.

Highlight quotes:

“Donald Trump clearly feels threatened by Secretary Clinton’s qualifications to be president so he’s attacking Hillary Clinton for being a woman” “That’s what weak men do.” It is an old story, and I don’t think the American voters will fall for it.”

“I hoped you were going to ask me if I thought he was a sexist,” Warren said.

“That’s like asking if he has bad hair,” she said. “He wears the sexism out front for everyone to see.”

“We need someone in the White House who isn’t afraid to fight for equal rights for women,” said Warren. “That person is not Donald Trump.”

Warren slams Trump: "Asking if Trump is sexist is like asking if he has bad hair”

.

Senator Elizabeth Warren says Donald Trump’s latest critique of Hillary Clinton shows his weakness — not to mention his sexism.

“Donald Trump clearly feels threatened by Secretary Clinton’s qualifications to be president so he’s attacking Hillary Clinton for being a woman,” Warren said in a telephone interview with the Globe. “That’s what weak men do. It is an old story, and I don’t think the American voters will fall for it.”

Hillary’s unquestioned qualifications to be President (unquestioned by anyone who is reasonable) is putting a lot of fear into Trump, so he had to lash out against her for being a woman.   Predictably, he has received a lot of pushback, it has backfired on him.

Asked how female candidates who are accused of using the gender card can fight back — without being accused of wielding that card — Warren responded, “Just get out there and do your job every day.”

“We need someone in the White House who isn’t afraid to fight for equal rights for women,” said Warren. “That person is not Donald Trump.”

That person is Hillary.

Warren also posed a question of her own: “I hoped you were going to ask me if I thought he was a sexist,” Warren said.

“That’s like asking if he has bad hair,” she said. “He wears the sexism out front for everyone to see.”

Warren is going after Trump for his shameless comments against Hillary, pointing out Hillary’s strong qualifications to be President and slamming Trump as being afraid of Hillary’s Presidential qualifications and as a weak man.

We’ll see Warren get involved a lot like this in the general election, she’ll be campaigning her heart out for Hillary, and will be a great, great partner to Hillary in the fight against the GOP and against Trump.

.

Gotta love Elizabeth.
