Guam has its primary on Saturday. #GuamForHillary Guam
After New York, it was thought that Sanders would scale back the attacks on Clinton. He did, for a split second. These attacks are giving ammunition to Trump. Donald Trump loves it and is already using Sanders words against Clinton. GOTV.
Sanders has vowed to stay in the race till the end. Sanders isn’t helping our party, and it’s time he ends his campaign. We know that won’t happen, which is unfortunate. Yesterday, Sanders held a press conference, he stated that the convention will be contested. He actually thinks he can still win a contested convention. He thinks that the Super Delegates will switch to him. Why? Because he is winning...no losing. He is more than 3 million votes behind...winning? He is more than 300 deletes behind…winning? He has virtually no super delegates...winning? Yet, he believes the super delegates should switch to him, because, he is doing well in the national polls; which don’t count for crap, this far out. Simply unbelievable.
Of course just today, “U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, on Monday criticized a Hillary Clinton campaign fundraising scheme that state party leaders told Politico has been used as a self-serving “money-laundering” conduit.” Scorched earth, all the way to the convention. Thanks Bernie...
From 538.
And the unsexy truth is that, barring some catastrophic news event, Sanders will not win the Democratic nomination for president in 2016. In fact, most past candidates in Sanders’s position dropped out long before this point in the race, and those who stayed in made little pretense of winning.
As it stands, Sanders is firmly in runner-up territory. He is losing 9 million to 12 million among those who have already voted, and polls show him lagging by an average of 8.8 percentage points in the states yet to vote1. Sanders has gained substantially in national polls but is still the less popular candidate (outside of the Bernietopia that is social media2).
Clinton has 1,645 delegates and 520 super delegates, Sanders has 1,318 delegates and 39 super delegates. Hillary is the one winning, with voters and super delegates. She has 2165 to Sanders 1357. There are 2,383 delegates are needed to win the Democratic nomination.
Sen. Sanders has received 42.56 percent and Secretary Clinton has received 57.44 percent. #DoTheMath.

— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) May 2, 2016“Clinton's campaign took in a total of $36 million in April, of which $9.5 million went to the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising operation between the campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and state parties. Of that total, $26.4 million of the $36 million went to the Clinton campaign itself, which enters May with $30 million on hand.”
“By comparison, Sanders' team on Sunday reported raising $25.8 million in April, a steep drop from its $44 million total in March.”
