You DO realize Hillary has already secured the nomination. Don't you?

Delegate count including super delegates, right now:

Bloomberg

Clinton: 2293 Sanders: 1533 Needed: 2383

I don’t think super delegates are a good idea, but they do exist and their votes do count. And they are chosen by the Democratic Party and are loyal to the Democratic Party. You may argue that they shouldn’t be loyal to the party, but that’s not an argument likely to resonate with people chosen because they are in fact loyal to the party.

There are 712 super delegates. Of those, 525 have publicly announced support for Hillary, and 39 for Bernie. That leaves 148.

Guess what? Just because a super delegate hasn’t publicly announced a preference doesn’t mean they don’t have one. And those are going to break for Clinton as strongly as the others have, and maybe more so if Sanders continues to act as though he has no loyalty to the Democratic Party (see: response to Nevada contretemps).

I’m willing to bet Hillary knows for certain, right now, that at least 90 of those unannounced super delegates are her supporters.

It’s over. It’s done. That’s why Clinton has for the most part pivoted to the general and Donald Trump.
