Woah. Stop the Trump fretting. We haven't even yet heard from game changer Barack Obama.

Going Godwin on the impact of a potential Trump presidency usually isn’t the preferred direction to take. Yet, I've seen quite a lot of that recently.

The internet wasn’t around when the National Socialists came to power in pre-war Germany.  From a standpoint of propaganda and total state media control, that’s the game changer.  Please don’t give me “but Fox News” in response to that statement.  It is a fool’s errand and waste of energy to attempt reaching anyone who is embedded in the Fox News stream of distortions and lies. Nothing is going to change their minds.  The CDS and ODS is too strong in that particular demographic.

What is going to happen is a shift in the tone of media coverage in the coming months.  None of the other GOP clown car riders went nuclear on Donald Trump because they were too busy carpet bombing their other lessers in order to consolidate themselves as the “not Trump” candidate. That worked out really well.

One thing we can look forward to — with a certainty — is that Trump’s entire dossier is going to be dumped out there during the general election season.  All that HRC has to do is stick to the issues, and let her surrogates off the leash.  Trump will self immolate quite nicely on his own.

We haven’t even yet heard from an increasingly popular Barack Obama, and probably won’t until the convention in Philadelphia.  You think he might have a bone or three to pick with Birther McAssclown?  I sure do.

I invite you to envision this: On the night of HRC’s acceptance speech, Bernie Sanders, then Bill Clinton, then Barack Obama (in that order) take to the podium to introduce Hillary Clinton.  I would imagine her acceptance speech will be given at Lincoln Financial Field due to capacity issues, rather than across the street at the Wells Fargo Center where most of the convention takes place. At the end evening:

There won’t be a dry eye in the house

Between the four of them, they will blow the doors off the place.

And Hillary will get a post-convention bounce that is unprecedented.  Until then, let the hand wringing and rending of garments continue, especially after Trump gets his post-convention bounce.

On the evening of July 28th, all true Dems come home.
