Since yesterday, Hillary has added 4 more superdelegates to her total delegate count. Slowly, but surely, our party is coalescing around the eventual nominee.
She will surely continue adding superdelegates to her total before June 7th.
74 more delegates to historyJust 74 more delegates to history and the AP will call this race. They will report that Hillary Clinton will be the presumptive Democratic nominee.
On June 7th, Hillary will add more than enough pledged delegates to easily exceed 2,026. As most of you know, those delegates are allocated by the vote and with her superdelegate support added she will exceed 2,383 on the 7th.
Keep in mind, when the AP calls this race it will be no different than June 3rd, 2008. The AP declared Barack Obama the presumptive Democratic nominee on that day. It was over.
The first ballot and scripted convention will just be a formality, like it was in 2008.
This ad was released before South Carolina, but it's still one of my favorites.
