As it happens, on matters of the primary contest, I have agreed with kos since he first made clear that the real contest for the primary was coming to a close.
Some here have chosen not to accept that reality.
It is a measure of his generosity that kos has allowed some diehards to bash him sometimes even on a personal level.
He has provided this space which for many of us is an important community in which we participate, in my own case since December 2003.
There are times I have strongly disagreed with kos.
There are times when I have been attacked by others.
I am not them, and they are not me. Even in the best of communities, we are likely to have strong disagreements on some things, from food and beverage and athletic teams to policies and tactics and strategy.
For myself, when I agree with someone I say, when I disagree I may say so publicly, I may talk with them privately first — especially to ensure that I have not misunderstood nor misinterpreted on the topic where I disagree. It depends upon the relationship and the circumstances.
Having seen multiple posts on whether or not kos speaks for people, I felt this alternative perspective was at least worth mentioning.
I am responsible for what I say, and what I choose to share from the words of others.
But then please remember — I may choose to share something because I believe it is worthy of notice, but I might not necessarily agree, at least in part, or sometimes at all.
