Warren comments on superdelegates

Well well well. So Bernie Sanders has been saying that he’s going to take the campaign all the way to Philadelphia, apparently campaigning for superdelegates to vote for him. 

We now have a statement from Elizabeth Warren on the matter:

In the video she says:

I don’t think that superdelegates ought to sway the election.

Expect a lot more superdelegates to say things like this after next Tuesday.

Asked whether Sanders should leave the race next week, Warren demurred.

“Sanders has brought a lot of energy to this campaign, and that is a decision for Bernie Sanders to make,” she said.

Asked if her role is to unite the party, the senator replied, “I think the party is united.”

“I’m in this fight all the way to try to stop Donald Trump,” she said, adding that she is “going to try to help out every way I can.”
