No mention is made of the Sanders campaign in multiple real-time accounts except to state that his supporters were worried about access to the polls.
One article describes the Sanders campaign’s subsequent discussions with Puerto Rico’s Party officials negotiating which of the 455 polling places would stay open in order to maximize access to rural voters.
