Attn: California Dems! We need high turnout and GOTV for Kamala Harris tomorrow!

As multiple diaries on the rec list and  recent list are pointing out, the presidential primary was called for Hillary tonight and there are concerns that this will affect turnout in California tomorrow.

PLEASE continue to encourage everyone you know to come out and vote for the downticket races anyway, especially Kamala Harris to replace Barbara Boxer in the Senate.

A June 3rd poll shows that 27% of California voters are undecided about whom to choose among the 34 Senate candidates in the jungle primary.

Though Harris is leading in preference polls, if that 27% undecided vote breaks the wrong way, and Democratic turnout is suppressed, it could affect the outcome, and there are whispers that Republicans are trying to coalesce around someone who could stop her.

Harris would join Mazie Hirono, the only woman of Asian descent to serve in the U.S. Senate.

Harris would follow Carol Moseley Braun, the only black woman to serve in the U.S. Senate.

Harris has been endorsed by Gavin Newsom:

And she has been endorsed by Elizabeth Warren, which waved a red flag in the face of some RWNJs who would love to take advantage of lowered D turnout to stop Harris:

It is important that Kamala Harris show strength by finishing first in the jungle primary, to further cement her status as an up and coming star in the Democratic Party and a woman who could run for President in the near future.

Please spread the word to everyone you know that turnout tomorrow is still important, and Kamala Harris is a great candidate who deserves their support!
