Hey everybody. I just spoke to gchaucer2 on the phone and she has PROMISED me she isn’t going to off herself. She was feeling pretty despondent, and perhaps close to doing something rash, but I gave her the phone number of one of the best medical professionals I know, and she has PROMISED to call that person tomorrow. This person has, in the past, saved at least two of my friends, just with a good phone session.
She asked me to post this short diary on her behalf. She specifically asked me to tell you all that I successfully talked her down from the ledge, as it were. She then likened me to Jesus, which frankly, I get a lot. Haha.
I will hopefully talk to her again tonight, and will try to make sure she gets in touch with my medical person tomorrow. Will provide updates in the comments, if need be. I know she was touched by all the folks in her diary who showed love and concern. So thanks, everybody. Xo
