The Speaker of the House Has Lost Control of the House

This guy right here?  Yeah, the one in the picture up there?  This person who is number 3 in line for the President of the United States?  Yeah, him.  The one who would want to be President one day.

He can’t run the House of Representatives.

This guy, Paul Ryan, reconvenes the House at 10 pm esdt, thus allowing C-Span to resume its coverage and simply proceeds to IGNORE THE DEMONSTRATION BY THE DEMOCRATS ON THE FLOOR.

WITH SIGNS.

OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED BY GUN VIOLENCE.

THE SHOUTING TO THE TOP OF DEMOCRAT’S LUNGS.

This man brings to a vote some ridiculous bill regarding — correction -— voting to override the President’s on legislation that would have made it easier for financial managers to swindle the life savings from people the banks, a bill that the banks HATE, thinking that the Democrats would shut up and either vote on the bill or be seen as — what -—

Hypocrites????   Is that the best the GOP can do?

The Dems are like, uh, hell to the NO, we won’t go, we won’t stop and we will be here all night.

Can we say epic FAIL on the part of the Speaker?

My only critique of the Dems is that they should not be voting on this bill at all.  I mean why, really?  It’s not like the House has done much substantive business during the majority of the 15 years its been in the hands of the GOP.

I mean, if you call voting to repeal the ACA 69 times, or shutting down the government for a month or flirting with the debt ceiling or being in recess more than most any other Congresses in modern American history can count as being productive.

So Ryan, your move dude.  You can be Bull Connor and have the Dems arrested at this point.

Because you aren’t going to get much else done this year at this rate anyway.
