Primary wars are fun, right? You got your verbal combat jollies right along with me. That fun is now boring.
Look: Bernie Sanders and his supporters have their own agenda. That agenda is no longer about making him president. Its not even making Hillary Clinton president. They have a mission that is all about promoting their ideology wherever they can. For now that means DNC machinery for reasons I don't get, but its of no concern to me. That is not objectionable. Nor is it wrong. Nor is it cause to continue to attack Sanders with diaries. Maybe, and I mean maybe, a few light comments every now and then. Certainly not attack diaries.
I don't know what it is that is keeping you folks from moving on. Sanders goes on corporate media to talk? Get used to that. He enjoys that. Watch something else if that bothers you. Sanders attacks the Democratic Party? So what. Why do you care? He isn't in any position to do anything to anybody. Ok? Sanders going to the convention floor for some silly and meaningless platform language? So what?! That's his right. Nobody gives a shit about the platform and nobody would give a shit about it if he wrote the entire platform himself in his office after a big breakfast. In other words, why do you care about this small shit the Sanders folks are doing? The Clinton Campaign is fully engaged in the important stuff with all our big guns in the field.
The only thing that should concern, interest, or titillate anyone who is not a Sanders for President person at this stage in the cycle is victory in the general election. Ok? General. Fucking. Election. The White House. The Senate. The House. The power. That's what is important.
So please, echoing kos and many others, move on from Sanders. I've been saying this for six weeks now. Move. On.
