I can understand boo’ing DWS. It is a classless move, but I get it. Emotions are high and “Shame,Shame, Shame”
BUT NANCY PELOSI? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Sorry, but this is nasty business for no reason. Nancy Pelosi didn’t do anything wrong except be a loyal PROGRESSIVE member of the Democratic party and was the first woman Speaker of the House. She is the booga-booga stuff of nightmares for the GOP.
Sanders won 43 percent of the California's Democratic primary vote in June, compared to Hillary Clinton’s 56 percent. The minority leader said she’d always opposed superdelegates and praised Sanders for staying in the race through the California primary in June because he helped boost turnout that resulted in more down-ballot Democrats finishing in the state’s top-two primary system.
But whenever a speaker talked about uniting to elect Clinton in November, the crowd balked. They booed Rep. Michael M. Honda. And chanted, “Bernie, Bernie, Bernie!” during Rep. Barbara Lee’s address.
Nancy has more class in her toenail than all of them
Pelosi tried to unify the room by emphasizing the commonalities in the room rather than the divisions. “The differences that we have are not so great compared to the chasm between us and Republicans,” she said.
But the crowd wasn’t having it. When a "Bernie" sign was thrust in Pelosi’s face on stage, she remained calm, saying, “I don’t consider it a discourtesy even if it is intended as one.”
With everything at stake, why are we trying to make our convention a drama-rama angst filled soap opera? Do we need the same type of negative attention that the GOP convention received?
Folks, this is NANCY PELOSI. Some people have jumped that shark a long time ago.
