My physician is not sure why, but all of a sudden my blood pressure has skyrocketed. I am on BP medicine every day, and when I saw him on Friday with an allergic reaction, it was normal, 122/80.
I broke a tooth over the weekend and dentist was going to extract on Monday, but BP was too high - 154/112, so we postponed until today. Skipped coffee this morning, got lots of sleep, but first cut BP came in at 202/122!!
We checked machine, I drank some water, 20 minutes later we took it again, and 184/125.
So I went back to see physician. In his office it was 156/120 - still too high. Now more medicine. Bought a BP device to check on regular basis. At home it was still circa 150/118, but I had eaten less than 30 minutes before.
Have to be very careful. Measurements in dentist office were in stroke territory. We do not know why. Watching diet, avoiding stress, going to check regularly, and revisit physician on Monday. Hoping it is not a major problem.
