UPDATE: A FB friend of mine pointed out that he might have been referring to the judges that she picks as opposed to Hillary herself. Which, of course, wouldn’t be any less horrific, of course.

I posted the following statement on Facebook:
Dear Shelley Taub (and every other elected official who is on record as supporting Donald Trump, including L. Brooks Patterson):
The man you publicly support for President of the United States just called for either a) his opponent to be assassinated or b) the judges that she appoints to the Supreme Court to be assassinated.
You've spent the past year or so supporting a man who denigrates, slurs and insults women, Mexicans, Muslims, black people, immigrants, the LGBTQ community and pretty much *everyone* on a regular basis; who has built his fortune by cheating, bilking and conning hundreds of individuals and businesses; who hasn't the slightest idea about world affairs, the economy, the environment or just about any other topic (and who expresses absolutely zero interest in learning about any of it); who has openly and repeatedly lusted after his own daughter; who lies about everything he's ever said or done; who has repeatedly threatened to use nuclear weapons on various nations; and who is currently facing racketeering charges as well as a child rape suit.
And yet, you continued to support him.
Today, just moments ago, he suggested that "2nd Amendment People" could "do something" about Hillary Clinton or the judges she nominates.
Your silence to date is deafening.
Your silence going forward will be defining.
