Yes, it’s very sad that Larry Wilmore’s Nightly Show was cancelled. He’s brilliant and we’ll miss the show terribly.
But watching it last night, I realized that being canceled has immediately removed all of the contents of Larry’s bag of F#*ks. The show always went farther than, e.g., the Daily Show, but based on Monday's Show, Wilmore Unchained will be going medieval on Trump and Republicans all week. Just a sampling from last night:
Trump is a psychopathic narcissist who not only has the hands of an infant, but the mind of one. He’s an existential threat.
Any comparison of Trump to Hillary was false equivalency and If you love America you have to hope Hillary wins every electoral vote this November.
A “Pardon the Integration” debate between Mike Yard and Rory Albanese was all about whether the N-word should be used.
Katrina Pierson is Trump’s spokesgoblin” and the Hurricane is no long the first thing that comes up when you google “Katrina and F&#king S*@t Show”
Larry also gave a shout-out to all fans — ”even you at @Wilmoreblows666. I enjoyed our dialogue.”
I’m looking forward to the next three nights of Wilmore Unchained..
