Update: Citizenship Exam Today. PASSED!
My wife wishes to say, “Thank you all very much for the warm comments, I am hoping to have the oath taking ceremony in time to vote!"
As for me, it was 6 hours there and back. Chicago traffic is a lovely madness. I'm still vibrating. We arrived at the USCIS Field Office well before the time required, and like so many things about the Federal Govt., unpredictably, we were finished and out before the scheduled exam time. All went well, and the examiner said, we would receive notice by mail regarding the actual oath of citizenship, which will take place (rather more conveniently) at the Winnebago County Court House.
Also, I join my wife in thanking all of you. And now I am going to unwind! Cheers!
