It’s easy to get worried about the polls, a poll here showing a big slip here and a big slip there — but polling over the last couple days has improved for Hillary — and I sort of got the feeling last week that the momentum is shifting back in Hillary’s column as far as polls are moving.
Today: Rasmussen Hillary +4 43-39. Last week it was 40-39 with the bad guys ahead. Net gain: +5.
The LA Times Tracking Poll has been the one poll to consistently show Trump with a lead. Today? Not so much.
One week ago Trump was ahead by nearly 3 points. Today? Hillary is up by 1. Net gain: +4
Morning Consult released its 50 state poll and if the election were held today — It’s Hillary Clinton that would be the next president 321-195 with Iowa and Georgia tied. In a four way poll? Hillary snags 332 electoral votes according to the Morning Consult poll.
I know these are pollsters we’re often wary of — but hey good news is good news — and after a few days of seeing stuff that doesn’t show momentum on our side, this is a nice thing to wake up to.
