Chuck Todd Just had John Podesta (Clinton Campaign Chairman) and Ret. General Michael Flynn (Putin Stooge) on MTP to discuss the race, especially the debates. First up was Mr. Podesta. He was asked:
What will you do if “Sane Trump” shows up, instead of the Trump you have shown in your ads?Because of OPTICS, I guess. What about her ties to Goldman Sachs? Hey look a video with people laughing about Hillary’s honesty. Why don’t people trust her?www.nbcnews.com/... via @meetthepress
Then it’s Flynn’s turn. What does Todd ask?
What’s Trump doing to prepare? This leads to Flynn doing a reprise of his “Lock her Up” rant to which Todd says “Yeah”. He does ask what about 99.9% of Natl. Sec. specialists saying Trump is dangerous ( decent question) Flynn then trashes those folks, Todd says “Um-Hmm” Will Gennifer Flowers show up? No really, will Gennifer Flowers show up? Was it appropriate? Then Flynn spews crap. Chuck Um-Hmms and OKs, no follow-up.Note, the difference? Why ask one spokes man about links to shadowy organizations and honesty but not the other? Now Clinton does have links to big banks, but so do most politicians. Trump has links to Vladimir Putin, sleazy Russian oligarchs and mobsters, yet no questions about this, just beltway gossip about tomorrow night’s prom. This is serious! Why ignore it? Also, the honesty thing. Clinton has some real caution when giving answers which comes off as dishonest but is you had been misrepresented in the press since your college graduation speech, you might feel a bit paranoid as well. Trump lies like he breathes.
I hate to say this but I’m beginning to get all tin foil hat and think NBC is going out of their way to protect an NBC asset, country be damned. After all, this guy did get good ratings, they may want him back.
