On Friday, the great orange one had a scheduled trip to the east side of Michigan, but he made an impromptu visit to Grand Rapids.  Now, Grand Rapids is currently in the middle of a Yuuuge public art competition called ArtPrize.  Most every store, museum, and public space is used to host art pieces which are voted on by the public and experts.

Donald decided to pop into the Gerald R Ford Museum which is one of the venues.    He seemed surprised that so many people were there, although it is an excellent museum and has recently been renovated.  Because of the ArtPrize event, most local media is broadcasting from a venue.  The NBC affiliate is broadcasting from the art museum.  But, the local ABC affiliate is broadcasting from the Ford Library and got the scoop.

The reporter at WZZM13 literally yelled to him from across the room, a producer put a mic on him and they started shooting.  The reporter, Jennifer Pascua, warmed him up by asking him his thoughts on Gerald Ford, and then went for the jugular.  She asked him about the fact that USA Today had unendorsed him.

In response to USA TODAY's claim that Trump is "unfit for the presidency," Trump responded by saying, "Well, I don't read USA TODAY. It's not much of a newspaper as far as I'm concerned. ... All I know is we're leading in the polls, we're doing well, we have the pulse of the nation."

So, the newspaper of record for every hotel in the country just dissed you, but it's not much of a newspaper.  Right.
