UPDATE — putting this at top at 8:07:
xThe Republican Party decided today to effectively concede the presidential election, WSJ reports: pic.twitter.com/7ES7Phfn7k
— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) October 8, 2016If true, effectively conceding presidential election for now. Remember, Trump has no field/data & was depending upon RNC for that. End update

xRNC just told a vendor to stop printing Trump campaign mail:“Put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now"https://t.co/HNM5OLsrfe
— Ari Melber (@AriMelber) October 8, 2016In addition, saw a tweet (which I posted on my other thread) that all Pence events have been dropped from Trump for President website. Here it is:
xJust in: * Received via DM: WHOA! All Mike Pence speaking engagements dropped from Trump for Prez site. https://t.co/N1Vbc7e1fQhttps://t.co/dQh7DZb5u8
— Deborah Bingham (@djbratpack) October 8, 2016and the flood of disendorsements continues.
I am going to guess that Pence is going to step off the ticket first, in an attempt to force Trump to withdraw. Trump can only get a replacement “named” by the RNC which will refuse to do it.
Meanwhile, Robert Costa has tweeted that he has heard the proposed replacement ticket would be Pence-Carson -— that MIGHT save some Republican seats in House and Senate, but would lose badly Presidentially.
and now this:
x3 prominent Alabama Republicans -- @RepMarthaRoby; @RepByrne& now @GovernorBentley won't vote Trump. https://t.co/bLBZxqzpvm#alpolitics
— Brian Lyman (@lyman_brian) October 8, 2016and a Senator who gave a nominating speech:
xIt would be wise for him to step aside and allow Mike Pence to serve as our party's nominee. (2/2)
— Deb Fischer (@DebFischerNE) October 8, 2016and Mormon Church Deseret News calls for Trump to drop out. Think maybe Evan McMullin is about to win a state?
and now this:
xThis is it. Who Trump Is https://t.co/TauWvThbX8
— Mona Charen (@monacharenEPPC) October 8, 2016and if you read the linked article you find out she thinks
It is tragic for the country that this likely means a Clinton victory. But as between a Clinton and Trump presidency, the former is probably less devastating to the things we treasure than the latter.and this
It’s pathetic to see people calling upon this contemptible fraud, bully, and egotist to withdraw for the sake of his party and his country. If he gave a whit for either, he would have been gone long ago.3:35:
xSource tells me "disgusted" RNC staffers are openly "defying orders" to keep working for Trump https://t.co/ZCZa1Jrnzf
— Oliver Darcy (@oliverdarcy) October 8, 2016 xGOP Sen Cory Gardner of CO: If Donald Trump wishes to defeat Hillary Clinton, he should only thing that will allow us to do so - step aside"
— John Harwood (@JohnJHarwood) October 8, 2016 xBREAKING: Another Nebraskan has abandoned Trump. U.S. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry calls for Trump to step down. Will back Pence

In another interview, from September 2004, Stern asks Trump if he can call Ivanka "a piece of ass," to which Trump responds in the affirmative. "My daughter is beautiful, Ivanka," says Trump. "By the way, your daughter," says Stern. "She's beautiful," responds Trump. "Can I say this? A piece of ass," Stern responds. "Yeah," says Trump. |
sorry for the formatting issues. On this, and other topics, CNN also provides the audio.
And perhaps you might not believe it, but that is one of the less offensive statements.
