As CNN and Chris Wallace and numerous other pundits have told us, tonight’s debate is the last time these two candidates get to speak “unfiltered” to the American people. Here’s an “unfiltered” moment from Donald Trump. After listening to Trump recite a love poem to Russia’s Vladimir Putin, Hillary Clinton hit him back hard by saying what we all suspect—that Putin sees Donald Trump for the chump he is.
Trump: Because we have a country with tremendous numbers of nuclear war heads. 1800, by the way. Where they expanded and we didn't. 1800 nuclear war heads and she is playing chicken. Look. Putin, from everything I see has no respect for this person. Clinton: Well, that's because he would rather have a puppet as president.
That hit Trump deep below that orange layer of makeup, right inside of his pea-sized heart.
Trump: No puppet, no puppet. Clinton: It's clear. Trump: You're the puppet. Clinton: It's pretty clear you won't admit. Trump: You're the puppet.
