I am moving on....

I have been focused on cannabis reform for nearly 30 years, 20-some years rather intensely.

I honestly never thought I would see reform moving forward because the US Federal Government, the Republicans and a bunch of foamy-mouthed bible-thumping poseurs with little private agencies — who suck up Federal funds — have opposed it so vehemently.

All this time, marijuana has been worse than hard drugs, worse then murder, worse than guns, worse than hate, worse than disease. It’s is worse than anything one can bring up because that is how the propaganda worked.

Now, in 2015, it’s more or less properly legal in Colorado, Oregon, Washington State, and California is about to fully and properly legalize (I think).

There is less for me to do now: so many other people are doing far more than I ever did, accomplishing what needs to be done, with the Federal Government fighting us every fucking step of the way.

So, I am moving on to a couple other issues I have deemed as pressing.

 GUNS

x YouTube Video

Turn the sound down on that: this is a little video made of stills from the Cliven Bundy ranch standoff where gun nuts aimed rifles at federal agents who were attempting to deal with the now-infamous Ranch Stand Off because a wingnut millionaire refused to pay for grazing his cows on federal land.

None of these turds have been arrested.

Hundreds of thousands have been arrested for pot, many killed by cops. But foamy-mouthed gun-nut assholes — free as fucking birds.

I am moving on to focus on gun culture and police brutality/malfeasance. I am posting this to sort of mark the point at which it became “official”.

I am not just that ‘pothead who writes about pot’ now: I am that malcontent who thinks cops are fucking out of control and that gun culture is highly delusional and dangerous.

I don’t support a gun ban for reasons I will write about recurrently. I feel like this is not the most productive route to take and that in any event of a “ban’ the very people you do not want to have guns — foamy-mouthed gun-nut assholes — will be the only people with them. They have stocked up for decades and they will not be handing them over. ANd that, to me , is a significant issue.

Why are they like that? Because they believe guns to be important. They are defined by guns being more important to them than human life. Their response to Sandy Hook made this crystal clear. These are not people you can have rational conversations with. Gun Culture is filled with ideas that are not even remotely based on reality and these thoughts take precedence to them. Try to do anything to talk to them and you get a river of conspiratorial paranoid bullshit.

Sandy Hook Truthers are easily the worst: foul, vile people who attack victims of the most horrible mass shooting in recent times, telling them it never happened. There is no talking to people who ACTUALLY BELIEVE THIS SHIT. It is a sign that your rational conversation is actually falling on deaf ears.

And this stems from guns being more important to them than human life. It will be my focus to start dismantling their stupid beliefs about guns, to present guns as nigh-on useless, not the most important thing in one’s life.

COPS

Cops are the other issue to be tackled. Cops in America are out of control. Period.

It is time they were jerked back in line to do their job as it is written.

It is time they actually received charges and trials. It is time that bad cops — of which there are thousands — were imprisoned. It is well-past time for them to suffer natural and logical consequences like the rest of us do when we do a crappy job. America’s cops are doing a really shitty job, killing people, tasering people, beating people — for nothing and they just simply get away with it.

Yeah, sure, SOME of them RECENTLY have gotten charged, thanks to citizens with cell phones (not body cams, not dash cams — citizen cell phones that are not under the control of police departments) showing us the shit that cops do. Every day. In every state across the US.

Police Culture must be changed. Do you know how you find a good cop? You look for a cop getting death threats from all the bad cops, that’s how. Their “code of silence’ has to be forcibly eliminated. They need mega=transparency, not mega secrecy.

Their expectations of impunity with their criminal conduct must be ended with great prejudice. Aggressive legal charges and trials.

For example: Critics blast all-white jury for Oklahoma cop accused of raping black women and teens

Daniel Holtzclaw is alleged to have sexually assaulted 12 women and a 17-year-old girl while on duty. Prosecutors have said he targeted middle-aged black women of limited means who had cause to want to avoid the police, such as outstanding warrants.

Though African Americans make up 16% of the population of Oklahoma County there are no black people among the eight men and four women on the jury.

The whole ‘system’ comes into play with this particular situation where this cop has already been given huge leeway and we can see the prosecutors are working so that this evil motherfucker can have a trial but get off. This is unacceptable but happening pretty much every day  because cities apparently want this to occur.

So yeah, I am moving on to these 2 things and won’t be writing as much about marijuana (though as soon as I post this I’ll probably see something either wonderful or stupid to share….)

And yeah, ha ha ha ha ha on you if you thought this was GBCW. Don’t ever get your hopes up about that.

I am not leaving here until George Soros stops paying me.
