Remember when Congressional Republicans dragged FBI Director Comey before a Republican led Congressional Committee? Remember why? They were furious with the FBI’s decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private server. How many of us remember what was said when Representative Elijah Cummings asked Comey a few questions? How many headlines were written about their exchange? Or was their conversation, an exchange which got to the heart of all the email issues, even noticed by MSM?
That conversation between Cummings and Comey was on July 7th. I don’t remember hearing much about it in MSM. Instead MSM, Trump, and the GOP have been wallowing in email smears of Hillary ever since. It is more than telling. It’s disqualifying on every level.
There was no restriction on Hillary using a private server.

— Puesto Loco (@PuestoLoco) November 3, 2016Intelligence agencies may have declared that 3 emails contained classified information — after the fact. That does not mean that Secretary Clinton received information that was clearly marked classified.
And that most certainly does not mean that Hillary did one damn thing wrong. Classified information was sent to her through agency secured channels, not her private server. You’d think someone would have cared enough about accuracy to notice. Apparently not.
It has been over a year of email this and email that. It has been months of breathless outrage and horror. And it has all been about nothing. Just a long con played on the American people by the GOP. Just a long con enabled by an MSM addicted to headlines and ratings instead of truth. While stories broke about the State Department, the Department of Justice and FBI being hacked, no one noticed that Hillary did a better job of protecting her server than various Government agencies did protecting theirs.
The sad irony of it all is that the woman smeared and prosecuted by the GOP and MSM did her job. She worked her heart out for the country she loves. It’s what Hillary has always done — do the work necessary to protect and advance the American people. It is what the Republican Party will never forgive her for.
There’s an answer to all of this. There’s a rebuke that only we can deliver. A denouncement that we have the power to make. We have five short days left in which to do so.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and of course next Tuesday, will determine our future. Five days, 120 hours, will make all the difference. Our futures, the world’s future rests in our hands. We have five short days to send a resounding message, one that makes clear to the GOP and MSM that we see who they are, what they are doing, and that we are not going to allow it to continue.
After all, we know that what they do to one of us, they will try to do to all of us. They owe Hillary a massive apology. They owe the same to the American people. I doubt we will see either. The courage and fairness necessary for responsibility are not their strong suit. It is ours.
We have five days left to vote and help get out the vote. We have five days left to elect Hillary President of the United States and give her a Senate that will work for, not against, the American people. We have the power to do all of that. Let’s get it done.
