Sanders close to taking Clinton in Arkansas 47% to 42%!

overtimepolitics.com/

Whoa, who would have thought-the people who know the Clinton’s best don’t seem to be enthused.

You might think that the state where Hillary Clinton’s husband was governor would be voting overwhelmingly in favor of the former Secretary of State. It does not appear that way, as she has a 5 point lead over Bernie Sanders, 47-42%. This absolutely has to be concerning for the Clinton campaign, which should be able to reliably count on most states in the South breaking her way significantly.

Of course, the primary is still about 75 days away, and a lot can happen between now and then. If history tells us anything, its that the candidates who can successfully spin a “win” out of the early voting states will perform a bit better than polls suggest at the start of March. Clinton winning two or more of the early states convincingly should give her the momentum she needs to win later states by enough of a margin to become the nominee quickly. Bernie Sanders doing well in two or more states could turn the two weeks between the March 1st and March 15th primaries into an absolute marketing blitz in the Democratic race. Most likely, Clinton and Sanders would have to pull back some from mainly attacking Republicans, to turning against each other.

Wow, just wow.
