After reading and mostly NOT commenting on the back and forth between Clinton and Sanders supporters, I decided: why the hell not jump in.
Here’s what the Clinton supporters and (I dare say) Hillary Clinton herself doesn’t seem to understand: our support of Bernie Sanders is only one expression of our intent to upend the system. See, a Bernie Sanders’ presidency is not our end game. It is but the beginning.
We are not simply advocating the candidacy of one individual. We are advocating to make obsolete the decaying death and destruction system in which so many of our “leaders” seem to delight.
So just a heads up for those of you desperately clinging to the old ways, to the old systems. Whether you like it, want it, or believe it, things are going to change. How the change happens, and its impact is up to how we handle the incredibly complex challenges coming our way.
The question is this: are we riding the wave or will we be overwhelmed by it?
