More Pearl Clutching

Seems to be a lot of pearl clutching these days from the Hillary camp.

What a surprise.

There was a diary that was not very well written in which Bernie answered a question about Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy experience — he basically said that experience didn’t necessarily equal good judgment and brought up Dick Cheney as an example of someone with a lot of experience but hardly any good judgment.

Oh my, the howling that ensued!

How DESPICABLE of Bernie to compare Hillary to Cheney!  Well I’m gonna contribute to her campaign RIGHT NOW!  (I found that amusing, YMMV).

Seeing as Hillary started the grand tradition of wrapping herself in Obama’s mantle at the most recent debate, I figured I’d pay homage to her by doing the same.

From the New York Times:

Senator Barack Obama continued to press his case against Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday, calling her “Bush-Cheney lite,” which prompted her to fire back — on camera — that the escalating dispute with Mr. Obama was “getting kind of silly.”

“I’ve been called a lot of things in my life,” Mrs. Clinton said on CNN, “but I’ve never been called George Bush or Dick Cheney, certainly.”

OMG!  HOW COULD HE!

I get it, I do.  The negative attacks from the Clinton campaign are spewing forth negative attacks here.  I’m also aware those attacks will escalate as a political tactic — kind of difficult to answer negative attacks when they come in such great number.

But you see, now we have teh Google and it won’t be as easy as you pearl-clutchers would like it to be.

I also know this isn't going to stop the endless outrage but this one was kind of bugging me, so I thought I’d memorialize it for when the inevitable bullshit attack comes up in threads.  You can just bookmark it!
