Great victory in Nevada. Hillary will have 20 delegates to Bernie’s 15. Most of the 8 Super Delegates are also going for Hillary.
Hillary Clinton now leads Bernie Sanders 20-15 in Nevada delegates after turning out more supporters than Bernie Sanders at the Nevada State Democratic Convention6:32
Hillary Clinton will keep her comfortable delegate lead in Nevada after turning out more supporters than Bernie Sanders at the Nevada State Democratic Convention.
Clinton won seven of the 12 delegates up for grabs at the raucous convention on Saturday, while Sanders won five. Party officials say 1,695 Clinton-supporting delegates and 1,662 Sanders-supporting delegates showed up to the event.
Clinton won the Nevada caucuses on Feb. 20 and locked in 13 delegates as a result. Sanders locked in 10 delegates from the caucuses.
Nevada will send 43 delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in July. Twenty of those will be Clinton supporters, and 15 will be backing Sanders.
Eight "superdelegates" can choose whomever they'd like in Philadelphia, but most have said they'll back Clinton.
So, this convention was about dividing up 12 more delegates, and Hillary won 7 of them, Bernie 5. As a result of today’s count the final tally will be 20 to 15.
What led up to this result for Hillary?

Party officials say 1,693 Clinton-supporting delegates and 1,662 Sanders-supporting delegates registered Saturday at the Paris casino in Las Vegas. Four people were uncommitted.
The numbers could change because delegates had about an hour after the announcement to switch to another candidate if they wanted.
State-level delegates will vote later on Saturday for 12 delegates that will attend the Democratic National Convention. The turnout advantage for the Clinton camp suggests she'll take the majority.
This result was all from guaranteed going into this convention. As readers may recall, there was a count 2 in April that had more Bernie people show up, but that was a non-binding vote and was marred by an announcement that falsely informed delegates not to show up on that particular day. Regardless, that was a non-binding affair, the real deal was today’s convention.
Hillary Clinton comes out on top at Nevada Democratic Convention LAS VEGAS (KTNV) - A contentious battle between die-hard supporters of Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders at Nevada's Democratic Party convention Saturday ended with Clinton locking in her delegate advantage. Thousands of Democrats throughout Nevada flooded the Paris hotel-casino on Saturday to continue supporting their preferred candidates, marking the last step in Nevada's caucus process. Though the process is somewhat complex, Clinton's campaign will officially walk away with 20 delegates to Sanders' 15 after the state convention. This was the deciding convention.
Though Clinton won the February caucuses by a nearly five-point margin, control over a pool of twelve delegates wasn't set in stone by the caucus results until Saturday's state convention. After a chaotic county convention in April, the Sanders campaign was poised to narrow the delegate gap by capturing two additional delegates than the initial February caucus results would have indicated. But Clinton's campaign was able to narrowly outnumber Sanders by a 1,695 to 1,662 margin, meaning that the former secretary of state and current presidential frontrunner will take 20 delegates to the national convention in July compared to 15 for Sanders.
Hillary’s delegates came through with flying colors today. Excellent showing. These 12 delegates were up for grabs, but Hillary’s people showed up and gave Hillary a clear win.
Bernie supporters tried to change rules, but that attempt proved futile. Charges of a "rigged" convention came once again from that side, but that was to be expected. Bernie supporters have been known to complain about everything being rigged, the media being "against" Bernie, in many contests Bernie has lost, so this is nothing new. However, the boorish and nasty behavior displayed at this convention gave Bernie's campaign a black eye, it was an embarrassing display of a candidate’s supporter group. The incidents have been reported and discussed in 2 diaries, so no need to get deeply into it here.
Again, congrats to Hillary for taking 7 of 12 possible delegates today. Hillary delegates showed up in droves and that made all the difference.
