Micah Xavier Johnson, 25. is now believed by  Dallas police to be the sole perpetrator of the ambush of Dallas police officers that killed 5, injured 7, and destroyed the comity of a peaceful anti-violence rally. Johnson was a highly trained Army veteran armed with rage and a high-powered assault weapon. He was killed by remote-controlled explosive delivered by a robot, and there are no further suspects at this time.

From the New York Times:

Mr. Johnson, an Army Reserve veteran who served in Afghanistan and lived in the Dallas area, apparently had no criminal record in Texas. Investigators have not turned up any evidence that Mr. Johnson, who is black, had ties to the Black Lives Matter movement or to other political groups.

The activists who had organized Thursday’s rally said that they had “never seen him” at any rallies or protests, and did not recognize him or his name, according to the Los Angeles Times. The paper also provided more on his service record.

Military records provided by the Department of Defense say that Johnson served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a carpentry and masonry specialist from March 2009 to April 2015, including a tour in Afghanistan from November 2013 to July 2014 with the 420th Engineer Brigade.groups.

Joined the military at age 18, and mustered out April 2015

One man, well-trained, with a high powered rifle. That is all it takes to terrorize a populace.

As for your “Civil War”, Mr. Murdoch?

Your call for vengeance against President Obama and Black Lives Matter, Joe Walsh? All the rest of the right wing press, white supremacists groups, and political con men who jumped to the conclusion that this was a planned conspiracy?

It is plain as day now.

These weren’t the facts that you were stating.

These were your hopes.
