In an interesting sign of grassroots delegate unity on this particular issue, over 90 delegates from Connecticut, New Jersey and Ohio signed a letter asking for stronger language opposing the TPP in the Democratic Party platform. The letter was sent to Platform Committee co-chairs Daniel Malloy and Shirley Franklin.

Democratic National Committee delegates aligned with both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders have signed letters calling for stronger language opposing the Trans-Pacific Partnership be included in the 2016 Democratic Party Platform.

The letters, obtained by POLITICO, come from delegates in ConnecticutOhio, and New Jersey.

The TPP is a bad deal. The Platform should include a strong opposition to that Treaty.
