Not since 2011 have we heard the witty, smart, cutting, political analysis of Keith Olbermann. Happy to say he’s B-A-A-C-K and he has plenty to say! Titled “176 Reasons Donald Trump Shouldn’t Be President” is the first and it’s eloquent! It’s only a brief video, seventeen minutes but those minutes are absolutely packed tight with 176 reasons why we can’t let Trump become President. See it here: video.gq.com/…
Luckily for us, there’s also a text version complete with links! Thank you Keith! Plenty of ammunition for DK folks who like to hit the comment sections and have back up to make a point. Find all that here: www.gq.com/…
Just a taste…..
And now our generation has its own: the most dangerous individual ever nominated by a major party for the highest office in this country.
His base wants few details and fewer facts; they just want to burn it down and blame their failures on the collective other. And Donald John Trump is their demonic messiah in Oompa Loompa's clothing.
We must stop him.
He then goes on to give detailed descriptions of 176 reasons why this man should never get his hands on the White House. Covered are insulting the Pope, promoting violence, who he calls a traitor and who he praises. Yes, Putin’s name is in there. I don’t want to ruin more by giving quotes from the commentary today, it really would lose something in not seeing it in it’s entirety.
From an interview with Yahoo News:
“It’ll basically recap and categorize the most extraordinary things of Trump’s campaign so far, so that we can get a sense of the crazy forest rather than just the crazy trees,” the former MSNBC and ESPN show host explained.
The goal will be two commentaries each week, he said, adding, “We figure to produce more than that, plus periodic interviews, but exactly when and how often – that’s to be determined.”
“Overall the commentaries will be very familiar to viewers of the old ‘Special Comments’ – and just as unpredictable in length,” he described.
Please watch, please read, spread the word. These 176 reasons are the tip of the iceberg.
