Oh boy they're desperate

Don’t you love it when you’re driving in your car or doing something random and listening to the radio, this time for me it was NPR, and one of the many pundits out there is talking, and you find yourself yelling at the radio?  Yeah, I do.

The lack of push back by the host was astounding.  I don’t even remember the show or the pundit, but I do remember the argument.  Why can’t Clinton just close the deal?  She’s just that unlikable that she’s can’t convince the majority of Americans to vote for her.

Of course, the widening national polls are what?  Those aren’t an indication that she’s winning?

How about those States that were once thought to be either toss ups, or even better, Republican strong holds, leaning Clinton or getting so close that the Republican party is really worried?

And hey, we’re talking about Clinton here, you know, the name that’s been dragged through the mud for the past twenty years?

Clinton is not failing.  In fact, this once Sander’s supporter has become more and more convinced that she is the right person for the job.  There is no tepid support here.  Clinton has been nothing but grace under fire, classy and on point.

The more she comes under attack from both the left and the right, the more my faith in her is actually restored.

I’m not going to lie and say that the troubles that many who do not want to vote for her have not been an issue for me.  I refuse to go over these things though because I feel they’ve been thoroughly beaten like that proverbially dead horse.  I also won’t defend her or go over the emails that have been leaking out all over the internet thanks to “Wikileaks”, which for me is a questionable source right now.  I sincerely do not believe that there is anything in an email that can convince me that Hillary Clinton is somehow less fit than Donald Trump.

And don’t forget, social media tends to amplify the extremes.  People with strong opinions are more apt to actually express them.  I have friends that like to equate Trump and Clinton as the same and I have, on my own Facebook page, made it clear that they are not.

I understand that they see them as part of the two party system problem.  Sure.

But that’s about it.  Seriously.

They both are rich, but Trump was born with a silver spoon in his ass, Clinton was not.  Yes, Clinton has been part of the establishment for a long time, but she has also lived a life of service, a life dedicated to helping others.  Trump has lived a life of privilege, a life of helping no one but himself.

I have a dear friend on Facebook who posts one of Clinton’s accomplishments every single day with the hash tag: bitchesgetshitdone (Thank you Tina Fey and Amy Poehler).

And that’s something Clinton has done, she has gotten things done for a lot of people, she has touched MANY lives and has been an effective leader in so many ways.

There is no lack of closing the deal here.

Donald Trump’s meltdown is his own doing, but Hillary Clinton has also done an amazing job of keeping her cool and making sure to take that high road that Michelle Obama has reminded us about.  When they go low, we go high.

This is not just about the fact that Donald Trump is losing this campaign, Hillary Clinton is winning and every day I find myself more and more proud to say that I’M WITH HER!

I highly doubt that many Trump supporters can say the same...
