We all like Hillary Clinton here.  If you don’t, please be respectful.

If you haven’t had the chance, check out the daily News & Views and the Hillary Writers Circle, as well as the afternoon Hillary Hangouts and the #ImWithHer evening open threads.  In addition, here are some new diaries.  You can find the rest at #HillaryClinton and related hashtags:

wdrath: Another Scientific Poll Shows Hillary Won the Final Debate (NBC/Survey Monkey)

m2c4: Hillary Provided Progressive Answers On Issues That Have Long Favored the GOP In the Final Debate

amadon: Her Name Was Susan

Once again, thank you StarbucksGirl51 for filling in so admirably!

As we get closer to the finish line, the polling looks REALLY good.  As this diary notes, it’s possible the polls are even underestimating Hillary Clinton’s eventual margin of victory over Donald Trump (oh please let it be so).  Most importantly, we’re in this position at least as much because Hillary Clinton is actually a good politician as because Donald Trump is an abysmal one.

Sometimes, a politician needs to be told when he's being sexist.   https://t.co/DAeDrTF8ww#NastyWomen

At Washington Monthly, Nancy LeTorneau notes that Hillary Clinton isn’t doing well because of luck, but because she’s competent:

While it’s true that Clinton has faced an opponent who is the most unfit person to have ever been nominated by a major political party, to claim that is the only reason for her success is to engage in the same level of sexism as the racism at the root of claims that Obama was lucky. It completely overshadows the competence that we’ve seen exhibited by both the candidate and her campaign.

Likewise, Steven Waldman finds that debating is an area where Hillary, the supposedly weak politician, outshines Obama and Bill:

What makes her so good?

First, she recognizes that winning a debate is about advancing an overall election strategy. For instance, rather than seeking a middle ground position on abortion (as I personally might have preferred, and as both Obama and Bill did) she had a disciplined understanding that her specific target audience – suburban Republican woman and unenthusiastic Bernie supporters – is unabashedly pro-choice. For a candidate often accused of hedging, she was unequivocal.

In fact, with all of the crap thrown at her, Hillary Clinton’s reaction appears to be a little bit like this:

Now let’s all go our part to make sure Hillary Clinton blows Donald Trump out of the water, winning in a landslide that hands Congress to the Democrats!
